1) Unless you are recruiting multiple top 50 high school players high school recruiting doesn’t mean jack anymore. So we just signed a high school class ranked in the 30s. Who cares? That in and of itself already puts us behind almost every other school in our conference which brings me to point #2
2) we have done an atrocious job with the transfer portal…like beyond bad compared to the other teams in our conference . I’m sure it’s not from a lack of trying , but while other teams in our conference load up on impact transfers we take on guys who really don’t contribute
3) the guys that actually stick around (ice, Kalin Boone, etc) don’t seem to improve.
4) we lose basically every meaningful game we play . With the exception of the Cade year we always lose the big games (and a bunch of small ones too which still count )…the games that fans will remember.
5) we make poor decisions at the administrative level. It always starts at the top and the program seems consistently and completely disorganized .
