As a frequenter of r/The_Donald for the month or 2 the to the election, I can 100% vouch that they were VERY impressive in analyzing bad news for untruth, doing due diligence on the writers, and disseminating news unreported, such as the WikiLeaks.
I believe that sub coined the origination of the term "Weaponized autism," or at least that's the first I had seen it used, and honestly, some of those redditors were exactly that Weaponized Autistics. They eagerly embraced all-nighters and poured line by line through the massive Wiki dumps. They logged what they found and would create new posts, frequently with memes, if they discovered anything that would have traction.
It was amazing to watch.
The degree to which the MSM went all in for Clinton is the reason I would accept changes to the 1st amendment shield for reporters.
