OSU Sports WriterSTILLWATER — On Wednesday, it was reported Oklahoma State plans to part ways with offensive coordinator and associate head coach Kasey Dunn.
Dunn initially joined the coaching staff as the wide receivers coach in 2011, a title he held in addition to his other duties. OSU named him an associate head coach in 2019 and the offensive coordinator in 2020.
Dunn’s contract runs out on Jan. 31, 2026, and Oklahoma State owes him 100% of his remaining contract worth $1 million per year.
Following the 52-0 loss to No. 25 Colorado, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy expressed disappointment with the offensive game plan and inability to adjust. Oklahoma State finished the day with 147 yards, making it the first time an opponent held the Cowboys under 150 yards of total offense since 2009.
The Cowboys averaged 27.2 points per game this season, which is the second lowest in the Gundy era behind his first team in 2005.
