on average, I think I go like 2-3 months. I HATE sitting and waiting and sitting to get my hair cut. If I could do it myself, I damn sure would.

I know know...just buzz it off and forget about it...but I am not confident that I won't end up looking like that dude from "The Hills Have Eyes"....

Same - 2-3 months. I used to go more frequent but have let it grow out so no need to go very frequently.

I go 4-5 weeks I hate having hair touch my ears I only go this long to keep the wife off my back.

I like my hair short so about 2-3 weeks.

My wife is terrified that she will mess up my hair somehow even though it's about 98% clipper work.

So I end up spending more on haircuts each year than my wife. Not ideal but I have more important hills to die on.

Lots of metros in this thread. I get my hair cut 3-5 times a year depending on if I have a special occasion. Beard trim every 1-3 months depending on the weather. I did both right before Christmas because of potential pictures and I just found out I’m in a wedding in may. I’ll probably get too hot in April though and have to get it done then.

Buzz it myself every two or so weeks. Haven't paid for a haircut in 10+ years.

I would do the same if I could get the neck line straight. Thinking of just going to the razor this summer.

Cut it myself every two weeks or so. #3 blade, all over.

2 to 3 months...sometimes longer. I hate having to make an appointment and having to pay attention to keep it. I tried using those sport clips places but you've got a trainee and all they know how to do buzz cuts. But, I loved just driving down the road and then just pulling in at my convenience and get it done in 20 minutes. Of course, well, not the best haircut. So I'm back to making those fricking appointments. My current gal isn't really doing a good job to be honest but I'm chicken to just walk in some other salon and take a chance on someone else screwing things up. It's a dilemma for sure. I know...tmi.

4 weeks. Go to Sport Clips. Check in online and show up at the reserved time. You will see your name on the board when you walk in. No need to wait behind 10 people.

I cut mine everyday. I set my electric shears on #1 and I shave my head like I'm mowing the yard. Forwards and backwards and then side to side.

Does a reverse yarmulke need to be cut often?

Once a week. Every Friday I go to the Boardroom. Have an annual membership.

Sept 6th was my last cut. Getting pretty shaggy. Haven’t shaved either. I look like I’ve given up and I quite possibly have. Not cutting the back this year. Pisses off my boss. Winning

go to a barber in claremore sometimes and others elephant in the room in Tulsa.

There's no rhyme or reason to when I go. Sometimes I look like my avatar because I'm lazy and don't go get my hair cut even though it needs it and when I do, it's usually 1 or 2 all over which I call the Jason Statham doo. Even when I get the Statham doo I still look my avatar...with a lot more grey.

Honestly, I don't need much trimmed now. My hair didn't recede, just thinned out. So, there's not much in the way of "excitement" when I go and get the lawn trimmed. *sigh*

I bathe about once a week, if I need it or not. My wife digs it.

She's always dressing up and looks cute, I look like I just woke up eating a bowl of brown gravy without a bib. Come to think of it, I might have.

When you work from home and live in sweats all the time, you tend to give hygiene a pass....

Looks like we need to get you a pair of those electric trimmers we bought dad, You could stand out in the driveway and use the rearview mirror so the hair would blow away in the wind. Now I know what to get you for your birthday next year.

Sounds like those trimmers will be "GOOD TO HAVE!!!"....

Thanks to this thread I might have talked my wife into letting me get mine cut every 3 weeks instead of 5 weeks or so. #MJGA

I am similar. Buzz cut with no guard when the mood strikes me.

I will spend a spur of the moment chunk of change for a beard trim and straight razor shave at Scissors &Scotch when I decide to pamper myself.

Or people that are serving or have served. Bunch of limp-wristed metros I guess.
