Very sad, but true. This country needs a credible opposition party. Right now we have Republicans opposed by a bag of useless rubber dicks.
I have voted both Democratic and Republican, we need both parties to be more moderate but at this point IMO Dems have much farther to go. At least the Republicans get it economically and not trying to wage gender and class warfare.
I could careless about identity politics, but when winning is defined as men in women’s
restrooms and ignoring gender at birth, calling you racist based on your vote, you have a party that is off its rails and lost its mind.
I would have never said this just a year ago, but today I do not see how I may ever vote Democratic again. You would have thought Hillary losing would wake them up, they are doubling down.
It may take the Dems getting killed at this mid-term and the next election to come up with new candidates and more moderate platform, that might not even do it. I would assume as Reps gain more power they could go extreme right which I think would not be good.
At this point the economy, our security, and our judiciary is getting moved in the right direction in a big way. IMO, that is a lot to be thankful for based on our direction not long ago.
We are lucky Hillary is not in the whitehouse, it would be like the US being in an old folks home with Alzheimer’s just waiting to die a slow or violent death. Eventually we would look like a failed and broke European country.
