Yes last nights game was hard to watch. The second half was much better but still the offense just looked to be going through the motions. But I also watched TCU, Minn, UNC, SC, Utah, Michigan all look rather pedestrian as well. Lots of sloppy football last night. Sometimes it takes a few games to knock the rust off. I'm hoping that is the case for last nights disappointing performance. I don't like to make knee jerk reactions to the first game of the season. Most of the problems I saw are correctable. Now the question is will they be fixed by conference play? This team is still relatively young and should make huge leaps over the next 2 games. If not we are in trouble. I saw enough to still be optimistic and kinda chalk this one up to a young team with lots of talent getting a good lesson early in the season.
