I don't know jack about the squirrel and his gerbil(s), but bad visuals are just that.

Not to digress/hijack, but somewhere in my last century paper files, I think I have a copy of "the gerbil gazette" which featured a pic of the Mathis Bros. with the shorter one holding "bruce, the giant gerbil". I'll try to find!

Trump's Republican National Convention (RNC) speech was a similar message (heavily influenced by Bannon and Stephen Miller), and it was VERY well received (see below).

But rather than spend any significant time addressing the speech's populist / nationalist policies (which Americans overwhelmingly support) - the media immediately went back to attacking Trump personally: "he's outrageous / divisive / offensive etc".)

And that's why he can't waste his time with flowery soaring speeches. They are not fairly received or analyzed anyway. Nothing he possibly could've said or done short of leaping to his own death from the dais would've gotten good reviews from these people.

Since when did being old-fashioned preclude you from having an American-First attitude? That's about as anti old-fashioned as possible.

My parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents (some of who fought for our country overseas) are definitely old fashioned and I can guarantee they don't give a flying F about any country other than America.
