I could see Hillary becoming the candidate again. While 75% of the Dem party would want new blood, that 75% is going to get diluted in the primaries across dozens of candidates (Fox News estimated as many as 36 have shown interest or performed actions reflective of a presumptive candidate). Until that dilution is eliminated, Hillary could easily poll #1 or #2 (at a measly 20%) in most primaries and then build a delegate lead that can't be overcome by whomever the rest of the party decides upon. This is exactly how the Repubs got Trump, and it may be the precise recipe for the Dems to run Hillary again.

Clearly you failed to study history. Good presidents or bad, very rarely are they not given top billing to run for a second term. Not sure why you would expect something different for Trump's second election.
