Hey NZPoke

“Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market,” Aridor said.”

I found this to be confusing. He’s saying the cure lasts a few weeks. Surely he means the treatment lasts a few weeks, right?

Otherwise, best article of the year if this pans out. Thanks for posting.

That's how I read it.

Biggest news of our lifetime if it's true.

@Medic007 can you weigh in on the merits of this? Did we cure cancer or did we just figure out how to grow a Theranos in the desert?

Don't know. I don't think they've published anything about their research on mice yet. IMO, it sounds fairly sensational which is what I would expect from a company interested in attracting investors.

Hey Sys,

Hopefully this works in long-term clinical trials. A cure for cancer would be fantastic!!

I don’t do narratives, but here’s an idea you can marinate on. It requires some 3-D thinking on your part, but I think you have the brainpower.

Since US taxpayers are sending that country over $7,000 per minute (literally that amount, you can perform the math), and the country is already protected by a massive wall — in return, they could provide the cancer cure to Americans for free.

I’m not in favor of sending **any** foreign nation $7,000 per minute while American life expectancy is declining and 54,000 bridges are in disrepair — but if we’re going to do it, it seems fair and reciprocal for US taxpayers to receive something beautiful in return.

What do you think?

I agree that a cancer cure would be fantastic!
