He is so far to left that he makes all these other Dem libs seem to be centrists to the ignorant part of the public! Now these types like Warren and AOC are trying to say that they are the ones who are in the center of the political spectrum!

When you move the far left out to a new level of extreme, it changes the balance and pulls the center further to the left.

They just like @my_2cents think this country is ready to throw in the towel and become socialist losers. I think that argument plays a little better during a recession.

What you are referring to is the Overton Window. However, I don’t really think Bernie is actively engaged in trying to move it. The others, however, may be attempting to take advantage to move it.

I wouldn't put it past Democrats and more specifically Hillary, to arrange to have Bernie assassinated. They would pin it on some deranged right wing patsy. Then Hillary comes riding in saying how Bernie would have won and she will carry the torch for him. Never underestimate how badly Hillary wants to become President.

As a tangential aside, Hill beast is STILL whining that Bernie didn't whip up his people into supporting her in 2016.

Delusional, pathological woman.
Dodged a bullet.

They know what a down ticket slaughter and low voter turnout a Bernie campaign would cause.

Bernie would actually help many down ticket Democrats and the turnout would be large if Sanders is in the general election. Lot of new voters too.

But yeah, many Democratic establishment types think like Republicans, and thus they can't grasp the impact Sanders would have in November (not to mention their corporate buddies keep whispering in their ears). Similar to how the establishment didn't realize the draw Trump had in 2016.

Uh, one glaring difference.
Trump had a resonating, viable product to sell.
Bernie is pimping gloom, despair and agony.
So, there's that.

Not at all. Sanders has a viable product to sell as well and it is clearly resonating. And Sanders' message is one of uplifting and helping all people, not gloom and despair.

I get you don't like his message, but many people do.

Hugo Sanders' product is on display in Caracas. Bernie is pro socioeconomic order. Hugo's energy policies would be devastating to our energy industry with thousands of high paying job losses. Damage to our markets would not be good, effecting retirement plans, et al.

Many establishment Dimms are well aware of the economic damage a Hugo presidency would cause.
