My theory is he wanted to stay out of the race, but AOC has so damaged Democratic Socialism’s reputation he felt he had to get back in the game and do some damage control.
This is great news for the pubs. The more whacko left people in the race, the further left the rest will have to move.
Good deal, all that's needed now is the Hildabeast or ex-first wookie to get involved and the next 18 months are going to be prime entertainment. The beauty of this also is all the liberal rags are going to have to choose a person to support or write about. Can you imagine a political/opinion department at a newspaper or crummy news station fighting amongst themselves about which person is better for America.
