Was listening to Herbie on Mike and Mike this morning. They asked him about the TCU/Tech game and whether or not he liked watching games like that. He said "no". He compared the Big 12 to the old WAC due to high scoring offenses and no good defenses. Said he would rather watch a game where strong defense has an impact on the game.
I thought his comments shed a good bit of light on what we all perceived as bias against OSU in 2011. Maybe it wasn't about the fact that OSU isn't a blue blood program, and it was more about not liking big offense/no defense style of play.
