My first response to "her" arguments? They probably put together a committee consisting of Hillary, Huma, Robby Mook, Podesta, and Jennfier Palmieri, along with Variety editors and staffers to develop what will be "Chelsea's Big Serious Policy Stance" to help launch Chelsea 2018 or 2020 as she seeks whatever political office is most expedient for her to gain a foothold to power. Then they probably focus-grouped the top 3 choices and ended up with this.

I have yet to see one person on this thread argue that sexism doesn't exist in America and give proof that it doesn't. Instead, most are attacking her personally and some of those attacks are based in her gender (again, proving Clinton's point)

Her claim: She was not surprised but deeply saddened by the sexism that still exists in America. She doesn't believe we can take progress for granted, that it must be defended. That she believes we are in peril of moving backwards on issues that are important to her.
Note, nowhere does she say her mother lost simply because of sexism. She was simply answering a question posed to her about if she is surprised that sexism still exists.

btw, Hillary Clinton said that sexism "played a role" in her defeat. Which it did. It wasn't the only reason for her defeat though, hence the reason Hillary Clinton didn't say "it was the only reason."
