Is there a medical condition that can make your head that lopsided? She doesn't appear to have it in her younger pictures.

It is interesting how no one actually addressed the assertions that Clinton made, but instead most just attacked her personally...with some of those attacks gender based. All this thread does is reinforce what Clinton said.

It appears that way as a result of excessive dodge and burn in postproduction. Would love to have seen the original unedited image. I wonder what it look like before they declared it print ready.

You mean that her mom was defeated because of sexism in America? She was defeated because she was a horrible candidate

I am glad it is finally a woman getting on the front of NYmag for doing absolutely nothing but being born to the right parents. That's another glass ceiling broken by this family.

She's an overly privileged pig, just like her parents. You libs actually fall for this bullshit? She's everything liberals claim to despise.

Liberals? You are going to have to update your terminology. Liberals love this shit.

You really need to know your audience, stranger.

More personal attacks, no response to her actual claim.

All you guys are doing is engaging in ad hominem attacks, which btw, doesn't help your position if your position is that sexism doesn't exist any longer in America.

Her "claim" doesn't warrant a response. Her mother lost because she was a lying sack of shit. Honesty isn't sexism.

You mean that her mom was defeated because of sexism in America?

Where in her interview with Variety did Chelsea make such a claim. Here is her quote from the original article:

"As someone who traveled across the country campaigning, were you surprised at the sexism that still exists?

I’m not surprised. I’m deeply saddened. I think it’s important for us to realize we can’t take progress for granted. Progress has to be continually defended as well as advanced. I think about this multiple times a day. It’s 2017, and we’re fighting again on fights that were settled a few years ago around gay rights, women’s reproductive health; fights to ensure we’re a country that’s always moving toward a more perfect union and not moving toward disunion, disunity, and segregation. We’re really in peril of moving backward. That’s not what I want for my children and their generation.
"

She was simply addressing the sexism that still exists in America. She didn't say her mother lost simply because of sexism.

My first response to "her" arguments? They probably put together a committee consisting of Hillary, Huma, Robby Mook, Podesta, and Jennfier Palmieri, along with Variety editors and staffers to develop what will be "Chelsea's Big Serious Policy Stance" to help launch Chelsea 2018 or 2020 as she seeks whatever political office is most expedient for her to gain a foothold to power. Then they probably focus-grouped the top 3 choices and ended up with this.

Sure it does. The claim that sexism still exists in America and the political fights that are still being fault are legitimate claims.

I have yet to see one person on this thread argue that sexism doesn't exist in America and give proof that it doesn't. Instead, most are attacking her personally and some of those attacks are based in her gender (again, proving Clinton's point)

Clinton also said she was “not surprised” to see the sexism she says still exists in America when she was out stumping for her mother on the campaign trail. At the Women in the World summit this month, Hillary Clinton blamed misogyny among the American electorate for her election defeat.

I guess I took it from this .. Her and her mom are aligned

If it is the other quote then I think she is full of shit .. anyone with blinders on is going to see exactly what they look for.

She wouldn't know sexism, racism, or any ism if it punched her donkey teeth out of her mouth. The only struggle she's ever experienced was getting a dude to mate with her. Much like her parents, Chelsea isn't engaged in real American life so her opinions aren't worth a single lousy turd. I'm sorry reality hits hard.

What exactly is her actual claimm?

"As someone who traveled across the country campaigning, were you surprised at the sexism that still exists?

Her claim: She was not surprised but deeply saddened by the sexism that still exists in America. She doesn't believe we can take progress for granted, that it must be defended. That she believes we are in peril of moving backwards on issues that are important to her.

Note, nowhere does she say her mother lost simply because of sexism. She was simply answering a question posed to her about if she is surprised that sexism still exists.

And better yet why does she get to make her claim in a magazine and I have to make all my claims on this shitty website?

Because she was selected as one of the women to be interviewed by Variety regarding their "power of NY" theme of one of their magazines.

Sure it does.
No, it doesn't. You buy her phony public speak bullshit because you are a "Clinton" bootlicker. I'm not.

So, since you are supporting her claim, let's see some evidence of this sexism that she's experienced. This should be entertaining.

At the Women in the World summit this month, Hillary Clinton blamed misogyny among the American electorate for her election defeat.

That was Hillary Clinton though, not Chelsea. Chelsea was simply discussing how she is not surprised but deeply saddened by the presence of sexism in America still. How is that objectionable? Do you believe sexism doesn't exist in our country anymore? Or are you happy about it existing?

btw, Hillary Clinton said that sexism "played a role" in her defeat. Which it did. It wasn't the only reason for her defeat though, hence the reason Hillary Clinton didn't say "it was the only reason."

More ad hominem attacks, without actually discussing what she said. And one of your ad hominem attacks was gender based.

Nice job medic...you just keep proving her comments right.

Wow what a profound claim. Sexism exists? In America? Wow. I can't wait for this genius to shit the bed in an incredibly winnable national election in 2024.

Why is grass green? Because light coming from the grass has a wavelength that our eyes interpret as green. Thanks.

Do you think sexism still exists in America, yes or no?

It exists mostly in the same way most idiotic things exist in America - functionally marginalized, yet overstated as a factor in everything in which it provides a convenient excuse (ie. Hillary losing).

Sexism is an easy button when critical thought doesn't connect the right dots.
