You see the EXACT same anecdotal message in every article: "Most who have the virus now did not have the vaccine and those who did have the vaccine have milder cases." But where are the statistics? For the past year, we've tracked 600K people who have died "due to the virus", even those who went to the hospital due to car crashes, heart attacks, and other non-covid maladies, yet now we suddenly can't actually put stats on breakthrough infections and as the head of the CDC said: "Most of the current deaths of vaccinated individuals were people WITH Covid, not OF Covid".

Ambiguity does 2 things: It allows for manipulation to occur, and it allows for those who fear being manipulated to believe "conspiracy" theories.

Final question: Now that its all-but-official that this did come from a lab in Wuhan, can we call it the Wuhan Cold (rather than Flu because its really a cold virus not an influenza). That would seem to fall in line with historical naming practices.

100 percent wrong. Breakthroughs are well documented. Moderna's CEO stated they have already cracked new variants based on the new technology, and they are in testing now.
