The conservative narrative and overlay to everything political is almost exclusively a media-created narrative from the last 30 years, imo. I can't see any conservative themes much anymore that aren't crafted from right wing, for-profit, media and it all - ALL - protects the bottom line of big business.

While I disagree with sys on almost every political topic I think his analysis of today’s conservatism is pretty accurate. Now if I could only get him to see it is equally applicable to today’s liberalism!

Man, I had this exact same thought ahout Weinstein a few days ago. I think the answer is a resounding no.
