I can't tell if your intent in posting is to call them evil, corrupt or stupid. But they don't appear to be any of those things, just philosophically opposed and voting their consciences.

Your error is thinking every representative of a party should vote in lockstep with his/her party. Oklahoma voters send their representatives to represent them, not the leadership - or the majority - of their party. But I understand how you would be confused by that. Democrats very often vote as one.

I mean, you seem to be assuming Gaetz' guilt before he is tried by a jury of his peers. Are you thinking the others that voted against the bill are also guilty of something?
It's a bit nonsensical. What from the bill (https://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20220725/BILLS-117hr6552-SUS.pdf) is a backdoor for illegal immigration? As previously stated, this is largely a reauthorization of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000. It does add budget/define rules for the training of victims of sex trafficking. Is that what Matty is opposing?
