A lot of hype over what was a pretty minor character. More importantly Hound and Bronn sightings. But you bury the lead. Arya can not be dead. I refuse to accept that. What was the purpose of her story for the last four years just to be killed by some bitch with no one who loves her ever to know her fate. If true it's the ultimate F.U. from GRRM to the fans. All the other key deaths have had some major plot points. Arya's story her would just be a dead end.
Writing, especially dialog, gets weaker and weaker and weaker. How long has it been since, after a scene, you thought to yourself, "Hmm, that was clever."?
Very true. Actually, the best dialogue from last night's episode was the conversation between Jaime and the Blackfish. Of course, that was pretty much ripped directly from the book. We should all probably accept the idea that HBO writers are not on the same level as GRRM. It will only get worse.
There is a theory that the waif is Arya's Tyler Durden, so this would be the end of her becoming no one. Not looking forward to her being ordered to kill another main character if that's the case.
Clegane Bowl is pretty exciting.
Arya's not going to die. As you say, that would make no sense. None. As far as it being a F.U. from GRRM, I would say that if HBO kills her, it would be an obvious point of divergence between the book and show.
I would say that it seems oddly coincidental that Theon is an Bravos as Arya is in dire circumstances. Will he somehow be instrumental in saving her? As I type this, something just occurred to me....Why wasn't Theon Greyjoy ever on Arya's list? He betrayed Robb and killed her other 2 brothers (as far as she knows).

They were in Volantis.
HBO's viewer's guide says Volantis: http://viewers-guide.hbo.com/game-of-thrones/season-6/episode-7
I loved these two scenes. It was great watching Cersi stand there and take a verbal beating with no comeback. The Mornont scene was clever. The grandmothers verbal evisceration of Sersi was great.
I think this was the case, too.I'm going to have to watch again. I am pretty sure the guys Arya approached were talking about the Ironborn and that was what clued her in that they were Westerosi.

On a different note, Margaery tipping off Olenna about being in danger confirms what most of us thought after last week's episode: Margaery has fooled everyone into thinking she's a changed (i.e. pious) woman now. It will be interesting to see how she plays this going forward, although I fear it may not be until next season.

Beast nun is onto her though.
I was also amused that the Sparrow is basically Tommen's pimp. Margaery is still holding out on the young man. Joffery wouldn't of put up with that.
That conversation is one of the reasons behind the theory that he knows M is playing him and is playing her in turn. Why would the HS care if M was pregnant with T's heir? He is, obviously, power hungry and looking to gain control of KL/the Realm. I don't think he wants power for himself. Rather, I think he wants the church to be a powerful as possible. But, he has Tommen under his thumb, and it would be in his/the church's best interest for Tommen to remain king keep him in the loop. So, maybe he knows M is a double agent and is just trying to make her uncomfortable and make her do things she doesn't want to do. Or, maybe he thinks that if she is pregnant with Tommen's heir, she will be less of a threat due to not wanting to do anything to hurt her son's chances of sitting the throne.
Do any of the other Stark fans some times feel like you are a fan of the Washington Generals????
2 weeks in a row I could have watched the entire episode on a 3 min flashback.
Well done.90's OSU football. Moments of utter despair, glimpses of hope, more despair.
Lannisters are OU. (Rich, keep getting slapped around, but always remain in control)
Targs are Tex. (Could be great, aint done shit in years)
Tex Tech = Pyke. Shit land, shit people, never really a threat but always causing heartburn.
Baylor = Bolton's

Just rewatched the episode. The dudes say that the iron fleet is in Slavers Bay and that they are not going anywhere near them. Are you sure? I thought that when Arya was approaching the 2 Westerosi about buying passage back to Westeros, they were talking about a group of Ironborn being in the city.
Thanks for clearing it up, Vito.Just rewatched the episode. The dudes say that the iron fleet is in Slavers Bay and that they are not going anywhere near them.

That makes it clear that they were not in Bravos. HBO says they were in Volantis. The dudes that Arya overheard. said they were in Slavers Bay. Volantis is not in Slavers Bay, but it makes sense as a stopover on the way to SB. It is possible that the 2 guys heard that the IB were in SB, but the rumor was not accurate. It is possible that the timing, between the 2 scenes, does not line up exactly. The Arya scene could possibly take place a week after the Theon/Yara scene (after the IB actually get to SB).
Either way, Theon is not in Bravos and is not likely to bump into Arya.
This is what I am assuming. I am guessing they had a short stop over at a brothel in Volantis for some booty then headed on in to SB. Still why would two guys in Bravos even being talking about it though seems like an odd conversation to show up in Arrya's story line. Maybe next week we have a big scene with Theon/Yara and Dani.
This is most likely the explanation and I agree I am just to much of a conspiracy theorist to buy it 100%.I would think that word of what is going on in Essos gets around pretty quickly since most of the cities are port cities and ships are constantly travelling between them. Sailors love to gossip. So, it seems totally realistic that they would hear about a thousand Ironborn ships showing up somewhere in Essos. As to why HBO included it, I think the point was that the topic of their conversation is what tipped off Arya that those 2 dudes are from Westeros. They knew who the IB are and knew about their reputation.
