Purge or invite back?

I hope never to hear from the likes of Krystal, (any) Bush, Romney, Kasich etc. again.

Jeb just tweeted his congrats. Meh.

But what of the reluctant Trump support from Paul Ryan and the like? The GOP is finally being torn down and reconstructed. Where do these cucks fit in?

I don't know. I've thought about it.

I think you see if their eyes have been opened to what the heck is the concern of the average Joe in Durant, Oklahoma, bfe Ohio, bfe Wisky, bfe everywhere. ...

If they have learned and demonstrate a willingness to address issues, call out why you are working with them and move forward (but always with a watchful eye...and weigh them by their actions, not words).

All the rest, screw em, work with them to the extent it helps move your agenda.

Everyone should be welcome on the trump train to making America great again. a purge would be politics as usual, hopefully trump is better than that.

I don't know if your optimism will prevail. I thought they had their eyes opened with The Tea Party and all they did was subvert it.

I don't have optimism or pessimism . ..only a framework and process by which to measure their usefulness.

Trump could set legislative tests for them. Weigh them by their actions. Words mean zilch.

Paul Ryan sounds excited, ready to work etc. Said Trump's coattails carried conservatives across the finish line.

Saying Trump turned the election on its head and heard the voices that no one else heard.

Overturning Obama care will be one of the first items on the agenda.

Your first 2 statements (by him) are actually very reconciliatory. Maybe Ryan is listening.

But again.....words.

Trust but verify.

Trump needs some of them, and all of them need him. Trump has a more flexibility in that he isn't beholden to Republican establishment and can grab legislative votes from pragmatic Dems.

If they can get accomplished the things he was saying Trump wants to do, I'll be very excited. Pence is going to be key as a bridge builder between the administration and Congress.

This is sort of why Trump's statements about not accepting the outcome ruffled so many feathers.

Elections are just blinks in the story of time. Historically as soon as they are over, everyone gets together, sings kumbayah, and says how do we move forward and make things better because this America thing is bigger than all of us.

No matter how nasty it gets, the outcome and victors have been decided so let's do the best we can with what we got.

Paul Ryan stumping the last 2 weeks in Wisconsin probably won Trump the election.

The other side of the coin is the Trump/Never Trump dynamic probably was responsible for the Repubs doing so well maintaining the Senate & House. All those Never Trump peeps voted straight-ticket and it had to have had a huge effect down the ballot.

There ain't no bad blood between those two today.

I will allow Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh back, Paul Ryan is on double non-secret probation but will be allowed back with a zero tolerance policy.

Kristol, Romney, Lindsey Graham, Evan Mcmullin, John McCain, Bush family and Pat Toomey can all kiss my ass.

Romney has zero space anyway. I mean we didn't hear from him in the past 3 years until late in the GOP primaries.

Just let him fade back into Kolob, I mean, nowhere
