Today one of the biggest Royals fans passed away, my Grandma Howard. In 1985 she called me yelling and screaming when we won. Tomorrow we will schedule the funeral in Kansas and my mom said it will not conflict with the game because mom will be watching! She loved baseball more than anyone I ever knew. She caused me to love OSU because of our baseball dominance in the 80's. I would have gone to KU without her, instead I went to OSU. And yes, in the 70's and 80's, MLB games were rarely televised, you listened on the radio!
