Highest ranked recruit to ever sign with OSU basketball.
Starting the last two game for the top seed in the East---Celtics.

After the Celtics started 0-2 in the series, coach Brad Stevens decided to shake things up and put Green in the starting lineup.
Some of you younger folks might know his background:
He signed with OSU in 2004 in high school and then blew up during the season and even more so in the McDonalds game when he won the dunk contest and scored 20-something points and then decided to skip college all together. I believe that was the last year before the requirement to go to at least one year of college. He would have played for Eddie Sutton. We had the number 1 recruiting class in the nation and Green was #1 overall in some recruiting services.
Now in his 12th year in the NBA. His best season was in 2013 with the Phoenix Suns when he averaged 16 pts on 44% shooting, 40% from 3pt line.

He has 8 points in the early going for the Celtics. Interesting that he plays on the same team with Marcus Smart.
