-it was bound to happen. There was going to be a game where the threes started falling. It was actually only a half, as all but Hickey were ice cold in the first half. But, the second half rain was what put us ahead and won the game.
-overall, we shot way too many 3's IMO. I guess the zone will cause that to happen, but I really liked the guard penetration against KU and was hoping that would be the norm for the rest of the season.
-Newberry was everywhere. Had 6 assists. Kid is getting better and better. He will be huge for us if he can hit 3's with some consistency.
-Nash was great tonight. Did a great job of staying out of foul trouble. Really made smart decisions on offense, and had one of his better defensive games.
-how about Forte. You can tell he is still sick, but he played great. He will have 5 days to rest. I bet he is on fire Sat.
-that was the biggest game of runs we have been in this season. Both teams had multiple runs, but we had a couple more than BU. I guess few runs is what you get when you have an offensively challenged team that locks down on D.
- officiating was good overall. Not perfect but good.
