9-0 (6-0). How much fun is this? Gundy on the big win: "I'm really proud of our team and it does a lot for us. The players have bought in. These guys care about each other. When it all comes together, it's a lot of fun." Chad Whitener: "Everybody's buying in and it's awesome." James Washington: "I really try not to look at it like 'We're 9-0.' We got Iowa State next week and we got to take them the exact same as TCU. You take it week by week and the sky is the limit."

Uniforms. Loved the chrome & black. Ashton Lampkin: "Nasty, I love them. You look good, you play good."

Still Streaking. TCU came in to Stillwater today riding a 16-game winning streak. That ended today, but Oklahoma State has now won 11 games in a row.

Atmosphere. It was tremendous today. We had the 6th largest attendance in program history (59,061). Boone Pickens Stadium was rocking all game long. James Washington: "That's probably the loudest the crowd has been since I've been here. It's a huge part of the game. They helped us out a lot." Zach Sinor: “It was loud. It was unbelievable. I’ve never been a part of a college football game that was that loud. It was loud at West Virginia a few weeks ago, but this was a lot louder than WVU.”

Six Teams. Iowa, Baylor, Ohio St, Clemson, Houston & OKState are the remaining undefeated teams.

WTIB. 4 more turnovers forced today. That brings the total to 23 on the season.

Protect this House. Since 2010, Oklahoma State is 31-6 at Boone Pickens Stadium.

17 TDs. That's what JW Walsh is responsible for this season (Rudolph has 18). Unbelievable.

177 Points. That's how many points the 2015 Cowboys have racked up in the last 3 games; only the 2012 team had more in 3 consecutive games. The 2012 team racked up their 187 points on vs Savannah St (84), @ Arizona (38 in a loss) and vs Louisiana-Laffeyette (65). Last 3 weeks this season: vs Kansas (58), @ Texas Tech (70) and vs TCU (49).

Confident Defense. Our defense defended 110 TCU plays. TCU scored 9 points the first half. They picked off the Heisman contending QB 4 times (23 turnovers this season). Glenn Spencer & the other defensive coaches have this group playing really, really well. $550,000 is a steal right now. Pay that man! Tre Flowers: "If the game is in our hands, we want that. We are a confident defense. We have swag." Gundy on the defensive performance: “I had confidence in our defense’s ability to make plays. I used the Kevin Durant example, the one where you don’t let him get to 50 points, just let him get to 25. That’s what they did tonight.” Glenn Spencer on his defense: “I want someone to look at the stats and tell me we had a bad game so that I can laugh it off. For these guys, this was outstanding, and I’m so proud of them. It was a huge night. There were 110 gradeable snaps so they probably played 120 when you take off penalties and such. Those guys are exhausted.”

TCU's 1st Play. This is the difference in this defense. Boykin drops back to pass and wants to hit the RB on a little screen play. Ogbah gets some pressure on the edge and tips the pass. But, we had 3 different Cowboys read the play correctly and were around the RB ready to make a play. Burton saw it and was ready to take on a the WR in front of him. Vincent Taylor got off the line and was following the back out to the sideline. And, Chad Whitener really showcased his ability to quickly dissect a play and then his pure speed to run after the ball. He was all over #21. He was in position to either going to tip the ball and bring him him down for a 4-yard loss. It's just one play, but it really encapsulates our speed and talent on defense.

2nd TD. This was just phenomenal playcalling and execution. TCU had just scored (7-6). Jeff Carr had a really nice return to give us great field position. 1st & 10 from the 37 and Rudolph throws a great ball over the middle to Hays at the 50-yard line. Rudolph hurries up to the line, pumps, and hits Washington with a perfect pass. That drive consisted of 2 plays but Hays catching that 1st down pass and then the decision to go fast and keep TCU on their heels was just perfect. Great job by the offense line to give Rudolph time on both throws, but especially the one where he pumped and then made the throw.

14-6. We blitzed and TCU hit a slant; Nixon takes it down to the OKST 13. 1st & 10 Sterns hits the RB after a 5-yard gain. 2nd & 5 Darrion Daniels blows up the LG guard and hits the RB after a 2-yard gain. 3rd & 3 from the 6 yard line. Ashton Lampkin makes a great play (maybe a little hold) to break up the pass intended for Docston. This was a huge, huge stand for the defense. 14-9 instead of 14-13 (3:24 remaining in the 1st quarter). After that field goal, OKST rattled off 21 unanswered. TCU wouldn't score again until 8:56 remaining in the 3rd quarter!!

4th & 1 at the 29. TCU is down 21-9 with 11:29 remaining in the 2nd quarter. They desperately need points. Boykin scrambles outside and converts. 1st & 10 from he 21 now. Boykin drops back. Jarrell Owens runs over the LT and drops Boykin for a huge loss. 2nd & 21 Boykin checks down to Turpin. 3rd & 15 Ogbah misses him and Boykin scrambles down to the 14 setting up a 4th & 3. Great coverage by Hunter on the 4th down and we hold. 11 plays, 69 yards & 0 points. Tremendous resiliency.

21 Unanswered. TCU then scores (8:56 remaining int he 3rd) to make it 35-16. TCU had a little more pep in their step. They hit McClesky after a 1-yard gain on 1st down to make it 2nd & 9. Gus Johnson: "2nd & 9 at the 26. The answer for that for Oklahoma State has been James Washington. Rudolph looking...down the field...caught.. JAMES WASHINGTON THE ANSWER..74 YARDS!!!" Well done, Gus. That was such a huge play to kill any momentum TCU might have. That made it 42-16.

Mount Chad. Chad Whitener was everywhere. Career-high 12 tackles, 2 INTs & 1 TD. He's now at 52 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 sacks & 2 interceptions on the season (Per okstate.com). These guys are growing up before our eyes. Gundy joked: “He’s got good hands. We should probably be using him on offense.”

Boykin on OKState. "You're not going to come into an environment like this and have four turnovers and expect to win a game. We played a great football team. Coach Gundy is a great coach, so props to those guys. They played us really good. It was hard to get into a rhythm." (Per Star-Telegram.com)

Patterson on the Loss. "First off, you have to give Coach Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys a lot of credit. They kicked our butts. You can't give up big plays. You can't turn the ball over. You got to give them all the credit." (Per Star-Telegram.com)

Goal Line Stand. 4th & goal (5:31 remaining 42-23). Kevin Peterson, Chad Whitener, Devante Averette, Jordan Brailford; everyone did their part. One of my favorite plays of the season so far. Kevin Peterson: “As long as there is time on the clock, you’re going to get our best. Some teams would have laid down and let them walk in for a score and the game would have been fine. We really bowed up.”

Mason Rudolph. This guy is just special. 16-24, 352 yards & 5 TDs. He missed some short throws and threw 1 ill-advised pass to #28 in double coverage, but he is getting better each week about avoiding bad decisions. The throw he made to McClesky on 1st & 10 (6:55 in the 2nd) was an absolute dime. Great catch by #84, too. Mason on his turnover-free game: "The big emphasis for me and this coaching staff was trying to eliminate the turnovers, take care of the football and put us in a position to win. Just practice and reps." (Per DOK)

A Star is Born. James Washington is on fire. He now has three straight 100+ yard receiving games. Last 3 games: 15 catches, 487 yards & 6 TDs. Let's put his play into perspective. He now has 36 catches, 772 yards & 7 TDs on the season. With his performance yesterday, he surpassed our leading WRs (in terms of yardage) in 2014 & 2013: Brandon Sheperd had 737 yards 2014 and Tracy Moore had 738 yards in 2013. We haven't had a 1000-yard WR since Josh Stewart in 2012 (101 catches, 1210 yards & 7 TDs). Washington on his 3 TDs: "Gundy always tells us to take 5 minutes the night before the game to visualize what you're going to do and I did just that."

Zach Sinor. 9 punts for 379 yards (42.1 average). 6 punts inside the 20. Gundy: "Zach (Sinor) was excellent and the coverage guys were excellent."

#StillwaterStrong. Fantastic video in the pregame. Well done, athletic department. SportsCenter (Live from Edmon Low) had a great tribute as well (http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=14070067). They mentioned that there are still 4 victims in the hospital. Let's continue keep all the victims, families & friends in our prayers!

The 2015 Cowboys. This team just feels special. The coaches & players just seem so focused on winning each day and going 1-0 each week. Look at those post-game quotes. These players are bought in and they truly care about this team and each other. Kudos to Coach Gundy, the staff, and the players. The season is far from over, but it has been a joy to watch them grow from Central Michigan to now. It's only Sunday but I already can't wait for Saturday! GO POKES!!!
