8-0 (5-0). Not only is this team undefeated, but Oklahoma State has now won 10 straight games dating back to Bedlam last year. The 2015 team joins the 2011 & 1945 teams to have the only 8-0 starts in school history. Just win, baby.

7 Straight. We have now won 7 straight games against Texas Tech. That is the longest streak by either team in the OKST/Tech series.

11 entering November: Oklahoma State, Houston, Memphis, Clemson, Ohio St, Mich St, Baylor, Toledo, Iowa, LSU and TCU are the 11 undefeated teams in CFB entering November.

Icy Whites. A+ on the uniform combo. What do we pull out for the HUGE match-up next week?

Instant Classic. Highest scoring game in CFB this year. 123 points, 1,300 yds and 900 plus passing combined. Gundy: “This is an all-timer. The truth is, we were behind a bunch . . . and we kept rallying back."

Mike Gundy. He is now 92-44 as the head coach of Oklahoma State; including 9-2 vs Texas Tech.

Washington on his Speed: "I owe that to God and Coach Glass."

Kick Returns. We need to get this figured out. Carr had one decent return, but he is far too timid. We need a guy that will accelerate and get up there to give us decent field position.

Mason & the Empty Hand. That was the 3rd time Rudolph lost the ball like that. He was asked about it postgame and responded: "Just a bad play on my part. Got to get better at it."

Who? Mike Jones. Redshirt senior Miketavius Jones continues to make plays this year. In the 1st quarter, he batted the ball back to down Sinor's punt inside the 5. Then in the 3rd quarter on a big 3rd down, Jones makes a great tackles to prevent Ian Sadler from getting a 1st down.

WTIB. The preseason mantra once again rang true today. 3 more turnovers today (2 INTs & fumble).

The Fumble. Texas Tech had just driven it down the field for a TD and got the 2-point conversion to make it 56-53 with under 5:00 min remaining. 1st down & 10 and Walsh fumbles. It bounced off a Tech player and who pounces on it? Raymond Taylor! Instead of Tech having the ball on our 25 with all the momentum, #30 gives us a 2nd & 8. Next play Walsh throws a 73-yard TD pass to James Washington. Cardiac Cowboys, indeed!

Sinor the Ray Guy Candidate. He was great again today. 5 punts for 201 yards. 2 inside the 20. 1 inside the 5. 40.2 average.

3rd Down Defense.
Tech was 10-17 today on 3rd downs. We must get better in this area as we enter November. Getting off the field on 3rd down and keep the crowd in the game will be huge vs TCU.

Road Warriors.
This team now has wins in Austin, Morgantown, and Lubbock. Incredibly impressive.

Yurcich. I don't know if Yurcich switched to the new Star Wars Lego set or what, but today's gameplan was fantastic. The way Mike & Mike used the QBs was perfect. Using Raymond Taylor, the reverses, utilizing #28 & #4 more, the Hays pass to Jarwin, double passes, etc. He's been really good the past several weeks. MY on today's plan: "You take the game as it comes; there's no crystal ball. Our coaches do a great job giving suggestions and telling you what's there. You're just calling plays and listening to the coaches."

1st Q, 7-24, 1:15 remaining. This play just stuck out in my mind. We finally get on the board to make it 7-17 and Tech responds quickly. It's now 7-24, 1:15 remaining in the 1st quarter and pressure is completely back on us. We get heavy pressure from a blitz (poor blocking by #73 and #44), but Rudolph feels it, steps up into the pocket and fires a bullet to Sheperd to get us into Tech territory. This is the type of play that makes Mason special. Great catch by Sheperd, too.

Raymond Taylor. He looked like our best back today and it wasn't close. His vision and acceleration were impressive. Gundy: "Raymond Taylor ran the ball really hard. We need to play him more. He's earned his stripes." Raymond spoke about his performance after the game: "I came here expecting to work my way up. I love the game so much that I really wanted to play. So, I came here to play. It’s been a great experience. Whenever I could or had the extra time to, I would put in a little bit more work. I never felt complacent. I just kept working." (R. Taylor quote courtesy of the DOK)

James Washington. For several years now, we have missed that go-to/playmaker WR. Even with some drops, he played really well again today. Receiving: 4 receptions, 200 yards, 2 TD. He's just electric with the ball in his hands. But, we have seen guys put together a couple of good games and disappear. Let's hope he can build on the Kansas & Tech game because we need him in November. Washington on his performance: "In the beginning, I was nervous with this being close to home for me. I wanted to put on a show, but I got to thinking it's not about me, it's about me executing with my team."

Kliff at 14-31. Kliff Kingsbury: "I want the ball back. Get the ball back. They can't stop us today." That was quoted by the ESPN sideline reporter with 10 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter. He just didn't know that our offense was going to put up 8 more TDs! After today's loss, he is now 17-17 as the Texas Tech head coach. I'm really glad they got rid of Leach and locked him up until 2020.

10-Point Deficit. That was our largest halftime deficit of the season. I love these cardiac Cowboys.

1 Pass Completion. That's how many Mason Rudolph had in the 2nd half. Pretty unbelievable. It shows A) how much JW did in the 2nd half and B) how much damage we did on the ground.

Spencer & the Defense. This guy is a magician at halftime, right? He again made great adjustments today and really stunted the Red Raiders in that 3rd quarter. Gundy: "Glenn did a great job ... (the players) put it to good use." Gundy seemed as baffled as anyone about the 1st half defense: "I just thought we were flat on defense to start the game. I don't know why.We did not tackle well in the first half ... Offensively, we were able to overcome and stay with the game plan."

WR Drops. They are killing our drives & momentum. Mason was throwing some dimes out there today, but the WRs have to do their part.

Our QBs. How fortunate are we? After a poor start, Mason managed the game well as we climbed back in the game. How about the TD throw to Hays? Beautiful ball. Rudolph could've had 325-350 passing yards if WRs didn't drop some good passes. He still had 285 yards (21/35). JW had 167 yards on only 5 pass attempts and added 80 yards rushing. They combined for 4 TDs. Yurcich: "We have 2 very good quarterbacks. It's a blessing...we won this game because of their unselfishness."

Defensive Line Talent. We have all been witnessing the greatness of Ogbah all season. He was tremendous again today (7 tackles & 1 sack). But, how about these young guys? Bean goes out and we see Brailford & Owens showcase their talent to get pressure on the QB. Both are RS freshmen. Imagine them with another offseason under Coach Glass. I really, really hope we keep Joe Bob Clements. He has been nothing short of a miracle worker on both the defensive line recruiting and on-field performance.

Austin Hays. Really good performance today (3 catches, 30 yards, TD). He made some great catches including the TD in the corner of the end zone. I feel like he has been in our program forever. Glad he is only a RS junior!

Tre Flowers. Made some mistakes early, but I love the way he plays. He's gotten better each week and got better as the game went on today (12 tackles). The Flowers/Sterns tandem is fun to watch. Their coverage skills will be tested as we go forward.

McClesky & his Return. The true freshman has had his ups & downs this year, but hasn't had much success at all in the punt return game. He really showed his speed today. Loved the finishing block by CJ Curry & Blake Jarwin at the end of the play to ensue #84 got to the end zone. That play brought us to 35-38 and you could really feel the momentum swinging our way.

November to Remember: Next week: TCU @ OKST Nov 14: OU @ Baylor Nov 21: Baylor @ OKST, TCU @ OU Nov 27: Baylor @ TCU Nov 28: Bedlam

Going Forward. Can't wait to be apart of the Sea of Orange next weekend. It's going to be an unbelievable atmosphere. I still can't explain this team, but I'm having a blast this season. Let's get the Boone rocking!!! It's going to be a crazy November. Go Pokes!!!
