---Pitt. Again, great move by Gundy and staff for putting the "PITT" decal on for this game. RIP Jeff Naples and continued prayers for his family and friends.

---Defense. Frustrating to see Texas move the ball with Heard running wild at the beginning of the game, but incredible in-game adjustments once again. Props to Spencer and the defensive staff as well as players making big-time stops down the stretch. It's amazing to see how far we have come in terms of defense depth, specifically on the defensive line.

---Lampkin. Great open field tackle at the end of the game on Heard to end that important series. Not an easy tackle with Heard's speed and elusiveness he showcased today. That's just a play that stuck in my mind.

---Miketavious. How about #24 on that blitz?! What a great play to knock them out of FG range.

---Ogbah. Big plays all day from #38. Love to watch him play.

---Special Teams. Grogan struggled a few weeks ago, but knocks through back-to-back FGs for the win so I'm feeling good about our kicker's confident going forward. Punt returns need to be more consistent. McCleskly still worries me back there. Punting needs to be more consistent as well. Sinor had a nice one inside the 10 today, but also had a few short ones that hurt us.

---Offense. That tempo before the fumble was incredible. The playcalling was very good and Mason was spot-on with his short to medium throws. We were staying on schedule and scoring points. Whether he got a little dinged up or not, he got rattled with the fumble. We can all agree he lost his confidence and it deflated our entire offense. It was very rough to see him throw the picks and just look completely off, but I'm confident he will bounce back next week at home.

---WRs. Sheperd and Ateman had nice days. They caught the ball in traffic and kept drives alive. They both had some big catches. Glidden was good again. Washington seems to be having a sophomore slump. He needs to get the drops figured out. Seales had a nice catch and run early in the game.

---Gundy. With everything going on, I thought he managed the end of the game very well. Well done, Coach.

---RBs. Hope Carson is okay, but I'm glad Rennie got an opportunity to shine. He ran incredibly hard and got some important yards for us today. It'll be interesting to see how coaches split reps between Carson/Childs/Carr now.

---4-0. Sure, it's inflated with a soft non-conference (although CMU gave #2 Michigan St a good game) and another down year from Texas, but wins are wins and we now have 6 of them in a row. We have a crucial 4-game stretch here coming up: vs KState, @WV, vs KU, @Tech. Let's win the home games and fight like heck in Morgantown & Lubbock!

---This Team. In college football, you have a different team every week. Our Texas win could be the turning point to a very good season or we could see more of the same with the offense struggling. Who knows, but our schedule sets up nicely if we continue to win. See you guys in Stillwater next weekend!
