What's the fun in that?Instead of attacking the man, you've demonstrated your position ad nauseam, why don't you attack the idea in the thread title.

I've bought things on amazon and there was no tax....and this article is very vague in postal funds....what are the postal service costs when you're losing billions every year? Do they even have to factor that part in? No, they don't. walmart has put thousands out of business....sorry, no evidence of anything but trump not liking amazon and making bozo have some pain.
Tribalism is tiresome and inarticulate.
Attacking a problem, however, with a larger degree of attention to detail, is engaging.

i didn't do any research...are you kidding? You don’t resarch much do you lol. The postal service gives a bulk rate discount to online retailers. You think amazon is getting a better rate?

Unbelievable hypocrisy, even for you. You were on these boards from 2008 - '16. Every day, personaly attacks against Obama, ad nauseum, and all you did was like and participate, huh?
I'm going back to work. Five pages, incidentally... I don't think you can stay out of a good race thread. Let's see....
How is this a race thread again?
According to the article Amazon collects and pays sales tax in the 45 states that have sales tax, but requires third party vendors to collect and pay the tax when it is routed through them. A standard practice by most online services. Also according to the article the law requires any shipper to pay the postal service's costs at a minimum. The postal service does not lose money by delivering Amazon's packages, as required by law.I've bought things on amazon and there was no tax....and this article is very vague in postal funds....what are the postal service costs when you're losing billions every year? You're welcome!I HATE it when someone on this forum makes me laugh out loud but this got me.
What detail was missed by the article?
I think you are onto something. He's a capitalist, a CRONY capitalist. The difference between a crony capitalist and a free marketer is yuge! He's against free enterprise. Liberals have proven to be better capitalists over the last generation and the destroyed narrative has him dealing with a lot of congnitive dissonance. He hates the guys like Bezos that are the engines of the economy.

If you've purchased from them since they started doing this (and I do pretty much weekly or more) you'll know that they do not collect it uniformly and it seems like they only collect the state level sales tax in OK.According to the article Amazon collects and pays sales tax in the 45 states that have sales tax, but requires third party vendors to collect and pay the tax when it is routed through them. Cronies, no. Cajones, yes.Free marketers don't have cronies, huh?
Very interesting.I agree in general principal that Trump's overall argument is poor. But I do not think it is quite as simple as Rich Lowry makes it out to be.

Just so you know, it drives me crazy when you agree with me!This guy doesn’t once mention bulk rate discounts, which apply to every online retailer, it’s not some special exclusive rate. I mean, if you want Amazon charged 1.46 for every package they ship, they’ll just up their prices.
I personally couldn’t give a flip I don’t buy on amazon, but Trump is a complete dumbass on this - much like his overall economic knowledge in general lol
OK, just for you I’ll try to reduce my bleating.I don't know. I saw another political headline attacking a person and lost interest.
Ideas are engaging when not rooted in perpetual bleating.

That’s your problem man. Get over it.
You mean the industry that owns the OK legislature like it’s a can of peas? What about the Oklahoma oil and gas industry?
Sorry CSCOTT, I’m in a squirly mood this evening. That was intended to be light hearted. I apologize for insulting you. That’s your problem man. Get over it.
That's called social feedback, Clinton.
Why might he have expressed that?

@CBradSmith, I can't help the shyster. He's staunchly anti-gun but claims to own more than 30 of them. I think that speaks volumes about the state of shysterkine. If I gave him Adderall he'd probably just increase his glue eating.
