From the NY Times, Two Long Years Agp

Mostly, manmade snow is made so resorts can open early. But whatever. The sky is falling.

Meanwhile, here in ski country, there are two feet of snow on the ground with a hell of a lot more at higher elevations. Happy skiing!

I love the blame of huge snowfalls, massive rain/flooding, F5 tornadoes/hurricanes and the like on global warming yet, when they show the previous records/events, many of those are equal to or more destructive than the current crisis. Many of those occurred long before massive industrialization and fossil fuel consumption and their component boogiemen. It's been 36 years since the 1980 and its summer long record temperatures. Seems like we would have had one or two more outbreaks of 110+ degree month long scorching temperatures before their hysteria becomes etched in granite...or law.
