Couple issues:

First is that the article failed to articulate how that 'extreme' left has vilified anyone who doesn't agree with them (even if they are of their own party - see Mr. Shultz as exhibit A).

I also think the article downplays (although it does mention it) the role the media has played in fermenting this leftist shift. When Republicans went through a similar ideological junction with the Tea Party gaining prominence and vocality, the media downplayed them as fringe elements of the Republican party. Yet, noone in the media is downplaying the left's new socialist bent as being 'fringe'.

Otherwise its an interesting story.

who may also take a few voters from Trump's base.
I like that guy from Indiana but is US ready for a gay president with a husband.

America is probably ready for a gay president that doesn’t make being gay a highlight of his personality. Just like Hillary going on and on about being a woman. You are just a person, stop trading on something you had nothing to do with.

I don't know where you get your information but peel back the onion and you'll find Mayor Pete and Beto the Irish Mexican are radicals.

I don't care about qualifications. By that measure Hillary should be our president. I vote for candidates that align to the direction I believe is best for the country, and given the binary choice, choose the one who most closely matches that ideal. In this case Trump was better than Hillary. When the Dems choose their candidate, I'll make the same evaluation again and vote for my best candidate.

She gloated over killing Kadaffi who was killing Al Qaeda. Obama needed him dead so he could do the Arab Spring which favored his friends, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.
