There was a time when people like "they" were institutionalized to prevent them from harming themselves and others....in particular, children. Now "they" will garner likes on Facebook, etc, and cash in on this carnival sideshow. All the while an innocent child is used as a pawn in this insane social experiment.
There was also a time when "the unfit" including the "intellectually disabled", "gays", and "morally questionable women" were forcibly sterilized by the state in negative eugenics programs with full support of the law.
Yay, "good old days".
Children should never be used as an experiment or for some attention seeking statement.
Raising children differently than what society thinks they should be isn't and experiment and parents use their kids to seek attention all the time....just in ways you seem to think are okay (birth announcements, gender reveals, baby showers).
People should never be institutionalized for gender disphoria or sexual orientation either.
To be clear, I disagree with raising children "gender neutral", or not designating their sex at birth, or raising them with too much choice or freedom too early.
I also disagree with institutionalizing those parents I disagree with or taking away their parental rights just because I disagree with how they are raising their children.

So if parents want to introduce their children to smoking the herb (when it becomes legal) should be allowed whether society agrees with it or not?
