What took place on January 6 was both disgraceful and an embarrassment for our nation. However, it was not surprising.
With the system of governance we have in this nation, it was only a matter of time before we would see the rise of someone like Trump and a January 6. And Trump (as well as his counterparts on the left) is just the start of what is to come as long as we travel down this experimental road the founders placed us upon. I am afraid that we are headed to what many have predicted will become of our nation. Unless more Americans awaken and realize there is a better system of governance.
