I was a sophmore in college when Dave Schultz wrestled at Oklahoma State and followed his career closely. I think he competed in the Big 8 tournament the night the lights went out and placed third as a Cowboy.

The review of the movie is very well written and with the quality of actors in the movie I can't imagine that it will not win critical acclaim. It will be a very dark story as that was how it was in real life. I guess I am looking forward to a "gut wrench".

I understand that Steve Carell will be a guest on the Daily Show tonight and will be plugging the movie.

IMDB has the release date as November 14th, but it's not showing here in Tulsa.

Anyone else know when or where it's showing?

It has delayed release schedule. It opens in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. I saw the trailer today at a theater here in Dallas. I am pretty pumped to see the movie.

The reviews have been good, but this is a very dark movie.

Good article on Foxcatcher on the front page of the Oklahoman this morning. Heavy duty actors should make this a very good movie to see. From what I read it might be very dark as would be expected regarding this tragedy.
