Maybe, instead of being focused on Obama’s ineptness and/or Trump’s culpability (or lack thereof), we should all be focused on Russia (and others), and minimizing their ability to influence our country in the future.
Trump, and his sycophants, are all about Nationalism. It seems to me that Russia meddling in our election should be anathema to them. Therefore, they should want to get to the bottom of the truth and prevent it from happening again.
The Mueller investigation seems to be doing that. Yet all I hear is “witch hunt, waste of time, waste of money, and nothingburger”. Without it, would we even know that Obama and the DNC sat on their hands and doomed Hillary’s bid? Would we even know about Facebook sharing information that should have been private? Would we even know about certain high ranking government officials, with strong financial ties to foreign governments, who were compromised? Would we know that Wikileaks is, at best, a vehicle for Assange to line his pockets, and at worst, a vehicle to disseminate Russian propaganda.
Seems to me that the investigation is doing quite a bit that is in the best interest of the American public. Hopefully that trend continues.

Lefties have also desperately tried to marry Russian meddling to Trump "collusion." Despite their wailing, those two are not synonymous. Anything negative in Democratic politics is Russia's fault now.
Maybe 0bama's ineptness allowed meddling to be more impactful than it should have been. Police departments try to get drunk drivers off the road before they kill people for a reason.
I am focused on the future, but I also want the failures identified and corrected to prevent future meddling. That's a very common approach to improvement. Surely you know this.

This is inaccurate. The statement said that they were uanable to confirm that the meddling affected the outcome of the election. That is different than saying that it did not affect the outcome.
