  Will Phil Forte have to have “Tommy John surgery” to fix his elbow or will it heal properly on its own over time? If he doesn’t have surgery, is his college basketball career over?

  I've been told that no, Tommy John surgery won't be required, not for what Forte does with his off arm. Time off should serve him well.
