Speculation that OU and Texas leaving will bring a swift death to the Big 12 conference. That will save them from having to pony up money to the conference because there will be no conference to pony the money up to. And some of the money will come from contracts with a tv network. What network has the contractual rights to the games? It seems to me they have at least as big a dog in this fight as the schools being left behind. Their entire scheduling is being tossed aside. I would think they would have a legal say in this. Anybody know what the network’s reaction has been to this point?
