For JD and others - Wall funding

That’s one opinion of a noted staunch anti-immigrationist.

But yes, still not Mexico paying for it.

coyotes knocking back $6500 a head

put them out of business and it won’t take long on the back side

I voted for Trump, and to be honest I laughed when he said he would make Mexico pay for the wall and knew that was not happening. I want the wall, paid for by US tax dollars, and here is why:

https://fairus.org/issue/publicatio...n-illegal-immigration-united-states-taxpayers

The Cost of Illegal Immigration to the United States
At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $134.9 billion to cover the costs incurred by the presence of more than 12.5 million illegal aliens, and about 4.2 million citizen children of illegal aliens. That amounts to a tax burden of approximately $8,075 per illegal alien family member and a total of $115,894,597,664. The total cost of illegal immigration to U.S. taxpayers is both staggering and crippling. In 2013, FAIR estimated the total cost to be approximately $113 billion. So, in under four years, the cost has risen nearly $3 billion. This is a disturbing and unsustainable trend. The sections below will break down and further explain these numbers at the federal, state, and local levels.

Bottom line, I believe in secure boarders. If they were coming in illegally from Canada in droves I would be saying the same thing.

Israel is on record with Trump saying the walls they have built, has helped them.

I lock my front doors at night, I have a fence around my backyard, the Hollywood elites have walls and armed guards. Security is important.

Watching the mental gymnastics to validate Biff's broken promises will be priceless.

Here's one:

Maybe if he makes Mexican-American judges recuse from immigration cases that's making Mexico pay for it. We probably save money by not having those cases heard by Mexicans.

I don't give two shits what he spends to decrease the flow of illegals. Just get it done.

You Democrats seem to think immigration law doesn't exist in this country. The latest idiotic campaign shtick is to eliminate ICE. Since you dipshits seem to believe that picking and choosing what you like is how laws are enforced, maybe Trump should look the other way on gun laws. I'll bet you panty wearing soy boys would shit down each other's legs if that happened.

Those illegals are who keep you living at mom and dad's house. Might as well share a room with them too, ChubbyClownCar.

But I'll bet you'll be pissed AND homeless if your folks decide to Air BNB your room to the highest bidder...

Funny how when Trump hires legal foreign workers all of sudden they are not more American then the immigrants the Dems approve of, that is what Dems tells us, they are more American then us.

Trump’s point in hiring American is to bring home manufacturing jobs. Obviously he wants the illegals out. Trump has a bunch of Americans on his payroll, but let’s not miss an opportunity to slam him over petty BS, but it is fun when in doing so Dem hypocrisy is exposed.

That is not what he campaigned on

I understand that. I'm asking a serious question, (which is unusual for this board).

If the wall is built and a similar amount of money stops flowing from the US to Mexico, does that mean that the cost was offset and that American citizens effectively kept an amount of money equal to the cost of the wall and that Mexico lost an amount of money equal to the wall.

A friend of mine was hit by one yesterday. She will probably miss a week of work. She will rack up tens of thousands of medical care and will end up needing a new car.

Want to take a guess who is paying for all of that?

No I don't think they are directly equatable. You'd have to prevent enough money going back to Mexico that the taxation from that amount would be equal to the cost of the wall.

If you drive in Oklahoma, GET UNINSURED MOTORIST COVERAGE.

(This public service announcement brought to you by the board's favorite lawyer, who's going to quit wasting time and get back to work now.)

It's not the same thing as he campaigned on is all I am saying .. He can move the goal posts all he wants but he not once, brought up any other type of "alternative funding" when he was campaigning.

I'm sure that she has it. I'm also sure that the insurance company will recover the cost from those who purchase policies from them.

'whiteys'? Really? You are the one injecting race into this issue. It isn't a black, brown, yellow, or white issue. It is a legal vs. illegal issue.
But according to our lefties, if you are against illegal immigration, you are racist. That's the level of moronosaurus rex you're dealing with.

I'm not allowed to be outraged at both?

See how that works?

Had it been a whitey who hit your friend, you wouldn’t have mentioned it on this board. Your buddies and their fodder know it too.

Carry on.

Is whitey illegal? Because that's the topic of conversation, Rev. Clinton Sharpton.

Besides, Hispanics are white people, so your dumbass attempt to make some kind of point is invalid.

You’re NOT the board’s favorite lawyer, but...the board’s favorite lawyer agrees with the advice you have given here.

@CBradSmith, for the record...I had abandoned the “Mexico ain’t paying” critique when the majority of the board said they always knew Mexico wasn’t paying for it when Trump said it/they don’t care whether Mexico pays for it or not/just get it done/politicians rarely deliver on all their promises or some variant of that.
