Really? The guy is batshit crazy. Like most of the self-righteous journalist out there, lives in a bubble and has zero understanding of what people think. I think you are jumping to a faulty conclusion. Chronicles Magazine is a decidedly conservative outlet, in fact it is paleoconservative to its core. Which IMO makes it a little looney. But it frequently publishes insights that deserve pondering. Like I said I have no idea who the author of the article is, but I find it highly unlikely for him to be a liberal and writing for Chronicles Magazine.

My g-g-great grandfather was born in Tennessee. We suspect DCandtheUTBand is of the Melungeon Group of the "sunburnt" Indians, as am I. DC has the Asian cranial ridge, Anitolian bump at the back of the skull and Asian shovel teeth, common in the Melungeons. I have double jointed thumbs.
