This year is what it is, it's not going to get better but I'm sure the dead horse beating will continue until it becomes paste. There is a good to very good group of players returning, the returning nucleus was very competitive with a basically top 25 team with no bench help for rest. This nucleus plus 4 talented freshman and maybe a couple of other additions should make for a pretty good team next year. I see no reason not to be optimistic. Coach Boynton has won some impressive games with what I feel has been incomplete or less talented rosters, including 2 last year against Kruger, and Bill Self, so I think he's going to be a good coach. He was scrambling to fill out a roster for this year but given time I think as evidenced by this most recent class he will recruit well.
