since Luck was killing my fantasy team. Only watched the first half but a couple of things stood out:
1. Our defensive speed is impressive on tv. Now if Spencer will turn them loose, they have a chance to be very disruptive.
2. We have changed our tackling technique which will be good and bad. We should not get any targeting penalties but we are going to allow the ball carrier to lean forward for that extra yard. Peterson's tackle on a 3rd and short and letting the receiver fall forward to get the first down will happen again.
3. 57 did not do that bad with his blocking in the first half. He did get beat a couple of times but that happened to all of our linemen. The center may be just as big a problem as 57. A good stout 1 tech is going to cause us big problems.
4. One of the things that is bothering me at the game was I thought MR was very tentative in his throwing motion and the balls did not have their usual zip. Watching the replay confirmed this problem but the ball seem to get to the spot on time except for a couple of throws.
5. Carson runs too high in the hole and he is not a good short yardage back. Put a Cowboy back in for those tough yards.
6. Receivers must be better at YAC. Its early in the season and they are more concerned with making the catch but they are not working for those extra yards.

Overall, I was happier after watching the replay than at the game. We looked pretty good against a team that should have beaten Zona. I am anxious to watch the fourth quarter to see our second o-line, they appeared to be doing some good things on Saturday and I want to confirm what I saw from them.
