In her appearance on Morning Joe on Thursday, the longtime California Democrat admitted that their is zero, zilch, nada evidence that President Trump and Russia colluded in any way during the election. However, she does believe that Vladimir Putin wrote the phrases said by Trump during his campaign, like “lock her up” and “crooked Hillary."
"I really do believe that much of what you saw coming out of Trump's mouth was a play from Putin's playbook. I think that when you saw him absolutely calling Hillary “crooked” — the, uh, ‘lock her up, lock her up,’ all of that was developed. I think that was developed strategically with people from the Kremlin, with Putin.”
It’s so unbelievable that even Huffington Post politics editor Sam Stein had this look on his face the entire time she spoke:
