Fighting Against Socialism

Would you find another evil to rail against? Maybe for a week, just switch it up? Ocean acidification. Whale extinction. Anti-GMO activism. Something totally unrelated. Maybe it's an opportunity for self improvement. I get having an opinion but you gotta get out of the exact same rut over and over... don't you?
I’ll make you a deal: I’ll go a week without saying anything against the primary human evil of our time, socialism, if you’ll go a week without once saying anything about Donald Trump.

He's just pointing out the ugly truth of socialism.

It's a failed ideology but morons keep trotting it out like it's some new way to save the world. I wish Bernie and his wife could give up their many homes and their multi million dollar incomes and live in Cuba or Venezuela then report back how beautiful socialism is.

Income equality for thee not for me. The whole lot of Democratic Socialists are nothing but hypocrites.

I think I just insulted hypoccrites.

Ok come on socialism is popular with folks that don't want to have to work.

As pelosi has said in the past.... We need a society where everyone can go be an artist or whatever is they want.

If she succeeds in creating that society then Great now everyone can go hop around in the forest if that's what they want to do. Unfortunately they won't have any food or phones or electricity etc

Socialism is the bible for victimhood & entitlement minded morons. Politicians use that bible, like 18 year olds would use free hookers on spring break, to promise adherents that socialism is the equalizer they so desperately seek. Its a beautiful campaign strategy and for some reason people continue to believe it can supplant hard work and motivation to succeed.

Low IQ Trump basers never cease to amaze me.

They’re all socialists—just like the rest of us—and they love it.

Socialism—“the services that government provides which are paid for by taxes."

That is a stupid definition that is totally inaccurate. But no one will ever get you confused with an honest debater.

I will eagerly await your Pee Wee Herman level response.

Socialism is when the government owns the means of production. Not that collectively we empower certain services to be preformed on our behalf.

Kinda like Ana Navarro is a Republican strategist.

Navarro was born in 1971 in Nicaragua, the daughter of Violeta Flores Lopez and José Augusto Navarro Flores.[1] She and her family moved to the United States in 1980, because of political turmoil,[1] though her father stayed behind, having joined the Contraswho were fighting the Sandinista revolutionaries. She later said that Ronald Reagan's support of the Contras made her a lifelong Republican.[6] She attended the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, a private Catholic college preparatory day school for girls in Coconut Grove, Miami.[5] Navarro earned a Bachelor's degree Latin American Studies and Political Science in 1993 from the University of Miami. In 1997, she earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.[7]

During her first year in university, Navarro raised funds for the Contras.[6][8]

Life and career

Republican strategist
Navarro has served in a number of Republican administrations, including the transition team for Florida governor Jeb Bush in 1998.[9] She also served as the national co-chair of the Hispanic Advisory Council for John McCainin 2008[3] and Jon Huntsman Jr. in 2012.[10] She supported Jeb Bush's 2016 presidential campaign.[11]

She's believable to you, I guess.

And she respects people about as well as you and Christian @CowboyUp too.

All 3 of you learned that from Obama.

“How did socialism gain a foothold in America?” ... the Boomer muttered to himself.

All the Jews’ fault, right?

Jews! Jews! Jews!

You are a one trick pony, and it’s a pretty disgusting trick.

How is NZ not banned for his open racism? An open bigot on the OSU board makes us all look bad.

Also wondering how much money he donates to Rep. Steve King.

Makes me wonder if this strong streak of anti-socialism is really code for anti-semitism. There's an awful lot of code speak and repetition of certain anti-socialist narratives it seems. The old Atwater "racist code speak" clip comes to mind.

The anti-socialism messaging makes no sense on its own given the popularity and success of our national defense, social security, and medicare.

Prayers scent for Scandinavia. So much evil going on over there.

Very small homogeneous countries. We have fifty states that could be different planets as far as political policy is concerned.

But you knew that.

Worth being raised a Baptist. Think I may have known the whole song book. Presby now but you cannot beat the old Baptist's songs.
We were members of FCC (Disciples of Christ). We had a pipe organ and Music was a big deal in our congregation.

The first songs (hymns) i remember learning for Vacation Bible School (BTW there’s no ‘vacation’ in VBS :)) were Do Lord and Onward Christian Soldiers. The US and Christian flags hung in our Sanctuary, where I was baptized (immersed) on a Sunday in front of the Congregation when I was 6 years old. They waited while I got dressed and rejoined the Congregation for Communion.
To this day I love all the Hymns, know many of them by heart, and sing them joyfully any time we attend.
