Stories like this are ironic. Outside of the LGBT crew, liberal women are almost always more fit then conservative women. They live in the big cities, they walk and get exercise, they Peloton, etc. But conservative men are almost always more fit than liberal men, as liberals seem to think that testosterone is bad. Being effeminate is something leftist men strive for. So you see stories like this, and its really about MALE fitness, not fitness in general.
