Anyone here enjoy extremely hot things to eat (no not women, shut it)?

I came across this challenge a couple of days ago and was able to find a couple in a gas station near my town.
http://Paqui Chips Reaper Challenge
Paqui Carolina Reaper Challenge I am excited to try these chips, I bought a couple. I have had Paqui branded chips before and they are fantastic, but hard to find in Indiana. It is a contest, but I am more interested with trying a chip made with the world record holding pepper!

I enjoy normal spicy foods, but sometimes I like to really crack up the temperature, I mean turn the fire up hot. Yes I get the hiccups, the gagging, hella burning sensations, but a nice endorphin rush. Nice way to clear the sinuses. The wife is stronger than I am when it comes to hot. I like spicy, but not to the point of sweating during a meal. She will sweat a meal out and love it.

Any of you brave souls tried anything extremely hot? Any chili-heads out there?

If you want to try some great products, I recommend the Pepper Palace
I have had training in Minnesota the last couple of years and have visited their retail store in the Mall of America and it was fantastic. They have tons of sauces and other non-hot things, but they have that ass-burning stuff, too!

I have only tried eating a super hot pepper once and I almost had a heart attack.

I know my limitations on that stuff, that's for sure.

And it just burns me up all the way through, I will never forget the feeling of what seemed like a blowtorch on my asshole.

I would need to wipe with ice cubes.

I used to enjoy eating super hot stuff. I had my gallbladder out last year and now anything remotely spicy destroys me. It really sucks. I don't understand how those things are related after reading a ton about gallbladder removal. Some weird stuff happens to people after that surgery, but most people are perfectly OK. It didn't effect my wife at all.

My sister in law is similar to you tater. However, she takes some pill before eating anything spicy and it helps a lot.

I love hot stuff. Habanero peppers are starting to get a little mild for me. My wife makes some hot red beans during the colder months that is awesome. I cant wait until the temp drops a little.

Not a fan of spicy food.

When I was living in Thailand, I saw Thai friends feed peppers or hot sauce to their toddlers. The reaction was a tad comical but it seemed borderline child abuse as well. I guess that's the way you keep a culture hooked on peppers.

Approximately 15 years ago, a new restaurant opened in Dallas. I can't remember the name of the place, but the concept was that everything on the menu was spicy to extremely spicy. The appetizers, the cocktails, the salad, the entrees, and yes, even the desserts. The waiters would give advice as to things you can do to minimize the spiciness (breathe through your nose, not your mouth/eat a lot of bread, etc).

The wife and I went and checked it out. The food was really good and really spicy. Some of the dishes (especially the desserts) were really creative. We enjoyed it, but it was more of a 1 time adventure than a regular destination. I'm pretty sure that the place did not last very long. Maybe not more than a few months.

My late father-in-law got cancer in his neck and the chemo killed his saliva glands so he developed a thick white paste on his tongue. When they got rid of the cancer the first time he moved to Malaysia to open up a new company and all of the spicy food there got rid of the paste on his tongue. His Dr. was shocked and said he was going to start recommending spicy food for his other patients with the same problem.

I love spicy food. I do limit it to tasty spicy though. Anything that is hot just for the sake of being hot doesn't do it for me.

I have found hot peppers to be a great way to get rid of headaches, especially those from allergies which we Oklahomans are so fond of. It not only opens up the pathways but it also kicks on some of the body's natural pain killers.

Something I do, too. Oklahoma/Arkansas/Texas allergens kill me so luckily it hasn't been as bad since I moved to Indiana. But, when I was clogged up, a couple of super spicy foods definitely opened me up.
