Expert Says 25 Percent Of American Colleges Will Fail Over The Next 20 Years

Many American colleges and universities
have become left wing indoctrination centers. And they do this while saddling their attendees with massive debt. But people have figured this out, and the bill is coming due.

For the first time in 185 years, there will be no fall semester at Green Mountain College in western Vermont. The college, which closed this year, isn’t alone: Southern Vermont College, the College of St. Joseph, and Atlantic Union College, among others, have shuttered their doors, too.

The schools fell victim to trends in higher education – trends that lead one expert to believe that more schools will soon follow.

“I think 25% of schools will fail in the next two decades,” said Michael Horn, who studies education at Harvard University. “They’re going to close, they’re going to merge, some will declare some form of bankruptcy to reinvent themselves. It’s going to be brutal across American higher education.”

Will be interesting to see what types of autopsies are done on the faltered corpses also, especially those that declare bankruptcies and try to "reinvent" their institution. Would expect they will find massive amounts of wasted taxpayer money and way to many administrators vs worker bees. .

Most Universities aren't interested in truth, science, or honest discourse. They're only interested in propaganda and creating mindless liberal clones.

Students don't question anything these days. They stupidly assume their professors are virtuous, infallible sources of information.

And if a professor doesn't toe the leftist line, even when he has evidence to support his point of view, he is excluded, has funding taken away, and sometimes loses his job.

I hope more than 25 percent go under.

It is why they want the government to pay for College, subsidized leftist brainwashing.

I actually think those estimates are low, technology is going to make all brick and mortar schools at risk, online classes will continue to skyrocket to counter the costs. OSU-OKC is striving to be a national leader in this area, and they are perfect for the 20 and 30 somethings looking for that second chance and are too busy to go to a class room.

We also have a shortage of 6 million in this country for skilled labor.

There are so many other factors impacting these schools besides what is being taught. Those going to a liberal school and getting a degree in racial studies, or humanities, and spending a fortune for it and thinking they will have a great paying job out of college? Just naive.

I hope OU and Texas go under. Maybe KU too, since they don't like Chick-fil-a. Getting rid of KU would also mean less traffic when I go visit my parents.

If I had it to do all over again I would have become a master in hvac, electric or plumbing (or a combination). With people not wanting to spend the time to learn the basics of home repair mixed with the decline in people wanting to enter these professions, it's a gold mine today.

I've saved myself thousands of dollars just learning what I can.

Easy to transition to running your own business as well. Good skilled technicians/craftsman are hard to find.
