Even Chris Matthews Believes Trump-Russia Collusion Story Over With Comey Testimony

My driver's education instructor taught me it wasn't the action that typically led to the accident it was the reaction or over correction. Obstruction of Justice (specifically Flynn) sounds about right....

I've seen a bunch of car crashes in 22 years. They are usually the result of the action. This is one area I can claim expertise. That only to say that's not a good analogy or whatever you were aiming for.

And I believe the actual term you were looking for is overcorrection.

What I love about the new board is posts like this will be around for a long time....

I remember Chris Matthews hyperventilating and pounding the WMD panic button before the Iraq war. He's so desperate for relevance.

Frank, interesting meme. So a big win, huh?

So let’s move on and learn all the facts regarding the Russian efforts to intrude on American elections without that investigation being impeded by frivolous efforts to accuse President Trump of committing a crime by exercising his constitutional authority.

Alan M. Dershowitz, Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law, Emeritus and author of Taking the Stand: My Life in the Law and Electile Dysfunction.

How does Dershowitz' final paragraph square with #10 in Guns' above post?

"10. The Russia story is dead - any Democrats who continue to push it will look foolish and insane to the American people."

Per Dershowitz' rationale, it is legal for Trump to impede a criminal investigation for any reason. Because he was bribed? Or to cover up criminal conduct? Of course not. Legal rights may be illegally exercised, and Dershowitz has been showing his ass on this for a while.

He's showing his ass? That's rich.

A bribe may be illegal, but that doesn't make other things illegal.
