Any word on what his injury is or what the prognosis is?
Ford must have done something to anger the basketball gods. It seems like he has had one of his best players injured/sick/suspended for almost every game over the last 6 seasons. The number of games that OSU has had to play without key players has to dwarf the number of similar games for every other Big 12 school combined...at least for the last 6 seasons (I don't remember any significant missed games during his first season).
I am not bringing this up to make excuses for Ford, but rather to point out that it is a trend that just seems to repeat itself and shows no signs of changing. It is very frustrating, and I am looking forward to a change. Normally, I don't put a lot of stock in "luck", "jinxes", etc, but I will be surprised if this repeated issue doesn't go away after a change is made at the top.
