I have a 4 year old English Pointer. I left it in KS when we moved up to NY for the last 2 years. We live in Edmond now with no room for a pointer. He's trained to wing and kill and comes out of Calico's Thrillogy. He's a great dog with a perfect temperament for pet or hunter. I just can't keep him. I more han likely won't hunt at all this year because of work. I don't even want to tell you what I have in him $$$ wise. I've been under the impression I've had him sold for $2,500 for the last 3 months only for it to fall through. If somebody will hunt him and take care of him, he is free to a good Poke home. Great dog. I just don't need him right now. Goes by Jimbo.

Anybody interested? I can send full pedigree if needed.

If you run into a wall, I may have a home for him if he'll work birds.

I would be interested in the pointer and could give it a good home. My email is bellis1818@yahoo.com, look forward to hearing from you.

Glad you found him home.

here is some of my friends dogs with the quial we shot a while back.

I don't think I've seen that many quail combined in the last 10 years.

That is a great pic. A great day of upland hunting behind good dogs is about as good as it gets.

I miss those days down in s.w. oklahoma as a youth. We always had at least two bird dogs, usually a brittany (some of which we raised for a while) and shorthair or German pointers. The Brit would tend to work in closer in while the pointers would be intermediate to longer ranging. That is some fine sport, and it was at least as much fun to see the dogs work the birds as it was to shoot them. Good times. I hope they can find a way to bring the quail back.

Something tells me that those are not native birds...
