Energy industry representatives said the reason so many drilling permits sit unused is more complicated than White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki suggested.

Backs up everything I've heard from friends in the oil and gas industry and directly contradicts the idiots in the White House. Either Biden is such an idiot he doesn't understand his policies are detrimental to the oil and gas business or he is a liar. With Biden coming out attacking oil and gas on day one of his Presidency the odds of him lying are about 100%.

Anyone with just a rudimentary knowledge of the oil and gas industry knows the vast majority of oil and gas leases are never drilled.

Oil and Gas companies pay on leases for decades upon decades that they know they will in all probability never drill.
