Reminds me of my friend back in Oklahoma close to 20 years ago who got on the Cherokee rolls to clam "Native American" status when he applied to med school (much easier to get in as a "Native American" than as a white guy which he was). I think he was either 1/16th or 1/32nd Cherokee. It worked and he got in. He's an anesthesiologist now.
I really don't care. It is up to the tribes to enforce who is and isn't a member of their nations by whatever measure they choose.
