But I do find the xenophobia behind these types of stories fascinating. I read a few years ago, the number of sexual assaults in Japanese on Japanese cases average about 16 reported per day. In contrast, sexual assault by American troops on Japanese averages roughly four A YEAR. Which stories get reported in the media? You can figure that one out.
Same thing happens here. It's really interesting to watch how the media reports these types of stories and how the public responds to them.
