Unemployment rose because people who had given up looking are starting to think they can find a job again. It going up is a good thing.
Wages are just fine. If they go up too fast it costs us all too much in inflation.
If you compare with labor participation rates, no, the unemployment has nothing to do with the increase in people looking. 62.9 percent labor participation in June. A baseline number for the last year.
The economy is strong, but tariffs and trade wars don’t help.
