I seem to remember that some of the Eddie Sutton teams seemed to get off to a slow start too. Please correct me if I am misremembering but I always remember sloppy play from some of those really good Sutton teams early on. I think that Underwood will have them playing their best basketball late in the year in time for the conference and national tournaments.
I think it'll take a few years before we see any deep tournament runs but I do think Coach Underwood will have this team being a threat to anyone that plays us. No one will want to draw Oklahoma State in the tournament.
